road, take the Swift River Walking trail in Rumford

property with over 100 miles of trail! Go to Black Mountain for an end of day snack, or drive up to the

- Coos Canyon -
A beautiful gorge and
very fun swimming hole on the east branch of the Swift
River with
gold that you can pan off of the river bottom -

- Tumbledown Mountain -
Is a 3,068-foot
tall mountain and favorite hike under five miles east of
Coos Canyon.

- Maine's largest state park runs alongside Lake Webb

inspiring drive that overlooks the magnificent Rangeley
Lakes region as you travel over the 'height of the land' into the
Rangeley region valley.

Beginning in Bethel, Maine, this
scenic byway winds
through the notch that it is named for offering wonderful
views of the Mahoosuc Range.
